45sec on, 45sec off, 45sec extra rest between rounds
3 rounds, 51min.
My, this was tough. The last 4-5 swings in the third round were really testing my willpower. Swinging 24kg iron cast in one piece or two makes a whole world of a difference, at least for me. The unusual 45sec rest also had its effect.
Compared to the last BJ-double-swings-session 2 weeks ago I upped the reps from 20 to 30 (just to have that 45:45 :D). First I thought this might be a bit too much (+50%), but looking back on the training logs of the meantime I knew it was doable.

Keep it up.
Get the physical & mental part prepared and RKC cert still demands for more.
Yes.
I'm thinking of incorporating some lower rep work with double 16s on my non-BJ days. Not all too much, just enough to get the feel of the heavier pair that might make me more stable with the 12s. Would that be an idea?
great work! double bells are WAAAAY tough. especially for time sets with short rests. You will be so ready for the cert!
I think your idea for the heavier double 16's is spot on. endurance is built from strength.the sronger you are the more submaximal the lighter bells become.
Way cool. Following my time with Steve tomorrow I plan to run through a BJ workout on Sunday and will probably start the 3-day sessions this coming week. Nice work!
Keep up what you are doing.
You are on track.
As you may already doing, understanding your technique and self analyzing what you do is very important.
Like how you recovered from you weaknesses.
Gabriella, you are working yourself hardcore. You've already got a great base for volume, so increasing the weight some of the time is the thing to do. Increase your strength by 5%, and everything else you do will be easier.
What you're doing is very impressive. Just keep at it, and you'll achieve your goals. Awesome work!
Thank you all,
I really must say I'm touched by so much attention and support I receive from you.
I also have the impression that volume work with the 12kg is nearing the point of diminishing returns and it calls for heavier weights at least part of the time, but I'm going to post an overview about the last 10 weeks' strategy and evaluation of the achievements later today so that the tendencies and the changes necessary can be seen more clearly.
Looks great again, keep up the good work. like this routine
Thanks, Gunther,
I even did a few Hindu squats (JM-wise only), following your example :)
