Seems like

The worst is over - I still have a few cold-like symptoms and could sleep all day but other than that I'm more or less recovered. Yesterday I did a few 16kg presses and today a couple of swings and snatches just to see how it goes but I still didn't feel that much like training so I didn't push it.

Don't push it! You need to recover on your own pace ... I am so sorry you have been sick ... BLECH!!! Hugs!

Dearest Gabi, it's been a while since I've checked in, but I'm glad you're on the mend. I'm down with the flu right now myself, resting, and eager to get back to training.

Kirsten, whatever it was, it took its time... I've been actually okay for a week or so now, but there's a kind of weariness that just wouldn't dissolve so I'm still not in the mood of pushing anything.
I'm going to spend the holidays in the Austrian Alps, that will hopefully fix it :)

Doc, take care, rest well, don't push it too far too soon... Hope you feel much better by now!
